viSibly linkeD – Student initiatives for Sustainable Development

“viSibly linkeD” — Student initiatives for Sustainable Development is a joint project of the Association for Sustainable Development (BENE) and the Centre for Development and Environment, both of the University of Bern.

Who is behind viSibily linkeD?

BENE is an interdisciplinary group of students contributing to sustainable development at the University of Bern. The Association combines different perspectives on sustainable development, seeking solutions to challenges by tackling them holistically.

CDE is the University of Bern’s centre of excellence for Sustainable Development. CDE conducts research and teaching on behalf of a more sustainable world. Its goal is to chart pathways to sustainable development and to initiate transformation processes in line with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Do you want to create and implement practical solutions for Sustainable Development?

The University of Bern’s Association for Sustainable Development (BENE) and Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) are working towards a common goal: transformation towards Sustainable Development (SD). We offer a platform that links students of all disciplines; we promote student activities towards Sustainable Development and make these visible. We need you!

What is sustainability and what has my subject got to do with it?

The “viSibly linkeD” project is a part of the U Change support programme of the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences.
