Hub for Student Engagement towards Sustainability

Our Hub for Student Engagement towards Sustainaiblity is a joint project of the Association for Sustainable Development (BENE) and the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) in close collaboration with the Higher Education Institutions in Bern (BFH, PHBern and IVP NMS), the hub provides support for initiatives of students regarding Sustainable Development and is currently under development.

In order to apply for the U Change funding, you have to hand in a rough draft of your project idea at the University of Bern - this document can be found here (manly in German).

Who is behind the project?

The support platform is co-lead by the student association BENE and the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE). In addition, PH Bern, BFH and IVP NMS Bern are also on board to support students from all Bern Universities in their sustainable projects.

Sustainability Association BENE

BENE is the Association for Students for Sustainable Development at the Higher Education Institutions in Bern. Coming from various backgrounds, this interdisciplinary group of students contributes to Sustainable Development at the Higher Education Institutions in Bern as well as in society.
