Promoting Sustainable Development in Teaching (FNE)

The university is awarding personnel points (PPs) to participating institutions, in the framework of the Promoting SD in Teaching project. This gives teaching staff or project managers time to work on conception, implementation, and evaluation of a course relevant to promoting sustainability.

Possibilities include:

  • content-related links between discipline-specific topics and core elements of the concept of Sustainable Development;
  • the targeted promotion of sustainability-relevant skills;
  • a reflection of potential areas of tension between the value orientation of your discipline and the normative demands of the sustainability concept; or
  • the testing of a teaching–learning method that you regard as particularly suitable in the context of Sustainable Development (didactic and methodological level).

The submission deadline for projects starting in the Autumn semester 2024 or Spring semester 2025 is 29 February 2024.
